John has over 15 years experience in the manufacture, marketing, sales, and distribution of dental devices, products, and services in North America, the United Kingdom, South East Asia, and Australia.
From 1997 to 2001 John was Vice President & Chief Operations Officer of US based NAOL Orthodontic Laboratory and Supply where he was responsible for domestic and international marketing, sales, advertising, operations, logistics, and continuing education. He utilized these experiences as CEO of NAOL Australia Pty Ltd from July 2001 until he joined SomnoMed in January 2004.
Prior to accepting his current role of EVP, Americas, John was Global Vice President of Sales & Marketing and a member of the initial three person executive team involved in listing SomnoMed Limited on the Australian Stock Exchange. John transitioned from that role in January 2006 and relocated to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area where he oversaw the construction of our facility, hired our team and established American operations.
After studying Liberal Arts at the University of North Texas and Emergency Medicine at the US Army Academy of Medical Sciences, John continued his education in dental sleep medicine, orthodontics, chronic pain management, TMJ and maxillofacial orthopedics under the tutelage of many world-renowned clinicians. This, in conjunction with his international business experience, gives him a wide perspective and deep understanding of the market.
